| Qualifications: | 7+ years experience in HVAC analysis and design for industrial and/or high-tech manufacturing facilities.
Proficient in performing heat load calculations utilizing software programs (such as Trace 700).
Strong knowledge of mechanical dry-side HVAC and wet-side hydronic systems design.
Experienced in system layout, equipment sizing, selection and associated specification write-up.
Understanding of mechanical systems control philosophy including P&ID development.
Familiarity with applicable building codes and standards.
Execution of mechanical design from conceptual design and criteria development through Construction document production and providing engineering support during construction.
Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Interfacing with multiple disciplines, project management, system owners, vendors and contractors.
Team player and self-motivated.
Additional skill sets desirable and/or considered a plus:
Licensed professional engineer (PE) in Oregon or other states.
Previous A&E firm design experience in semiconductor and cleanroom facilities (new or retrofit applications).
Plumbing and/or fire protection design experience.
Proficiency with any mechanical hydraulic/piping flow modeling software programs (such as PipeFlo).
Previous experience utilizing any CFD/air flow modeling software programs (such as TileFlow).
Mechanical system start-up and commissioning experience.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
